Confidentiality:

All client information is confidential, and will not be released to any third party except at your specific written request.
My professional ethics and the laws of the District of  Columbia prevent me from telling anyone else what you tell me,
unless you give me written permission.  This includes release of the information that a particular person is, or is not, a
client.  There are a few exceptions to this policy and we will go over them in detail during your first session.

 Fee Information:

Each therapy hour consists of a 45-minute individual counseling or therapy session.  All or some portion of this fee
may be covered by your health insurance policy.  I will ask about and discuss with you insurance reimbursement
procedures prior to setting up our first session together.  Also, I can assist you with the necessary paperwork to
    facilitate your reimbursement if necessary.

 Dealing With Insurance:

You may wish to look at the insurance page on this site.  Provided is some information that might be helpful for you
to consider before your first appointment.  Attempting to figure out insurance information can be overwhelming and
rather than feel discouraged it may be easiest to discuss any questions you have about reimbursement with me in
person or over the phone prior to setting up your first consultation.
